Looking For A Student Developer

Who we are looking for: a motivated high school student who will be enrolled in a programming class at ACE.

Project Description

"Do Green" is a mobile application that tracks and measures our daily actions and inactions that are impacting our planet. The core idea behind the platform is to encourage people to do one good thing for Earth a day. Through the mobile application, we will provide an interactive medium to a global community of similar-minded, environmentally conscious citizens to come together and share ideas, track activities, and quantify the individual/collective green efforts.

Duration: 8 weeks

Time commitment: 10-15 hours a week (not sure if that's an adequate amount, I guess it will depend on how fast development goes)

What students gain:

- Hands-on mobile application development experience for a real product launch

- Experience working with professionals*

- Sneak-peak into a start-up

Note: This is NOT a class with a set curriculum. The project participation is voluntary and all source coded & Intellectual Property remain with ACE.
